Usage:
Industrial
It is used in the manufacture of blue black ink, metal anti-rust, oil drilling mud treatment and mineral inhibitor, metal germanium extraction.
(2) It usually used as leather tanning agent, mordant, color fixing agent, protein agent and alkaloid precipitant in textile printing and dyeing field.
(3) It is as an initial raw material for the production of ellagic acid, gallic acid, gallic esters series products, pyrogallic acid and other gallic acid series products in fine chemical industry.
2. Medicine
(1) It is the raw material for the production of gallic acid, pyrogallol and sulfonamide drugs.
(2) It can be used in drugs of treating cold sores, fever blisters, sore throat, sore tonsils and receding gums.
(3) It is clinically used in the treatment drugs of local bleeding, such as toothpaste, gingival bleeding, chronic diarrhea, dysentery, hematuria, etc.
(4) Tannin is usually used in ointments and suppositories to treat hemorrhoids.

4. Food
(1) It mainly used as a clarifying agent for beer, wine and low alcohol. Tannic acid used in beer absorbs alkaline polymers and hydrophobic sensitive proteins, reduces aldehydes, enhances antioxidant capacity, improves abiotic stability and flavor stability.
(2) It can be used in bromelain food processing.
(3) Tannins can be used as preservative and antioxidants in fruits and vegetables.
